This year instead of running around at the last minute trying to get all my xmas shopping done I started way back in August, with every paycheck I ran to the stores (but) spent only a few bucks, got some stuff on layaway and looked for specials and discounts, I had way more time than previous years and i was able to get more stuff for my girls and it was all paid in cash but being a child of commerce, a hunter of shiny , an avid scattergood , I feel left out of this mad dash everyone is doing , I think is time to dust off them cards and go fight the crowds for that perfect parking spot at the mall

Fall-ing in love

Summer bailed in the middle of the night and left me sleeping on the floor next to a heap of empty bottles and cigar butts, but the very next day I met Autumn and so far so good

We are getting ready for the Holidays by making some candy and
looking at a few books on thanksgiving feast makin' wooo hooo we gonna be cookin with lard soon !
I wanna make some pies for thanksgivin , maybe even a cake

My Daughter kicks Ass!

She picked her own costume, and laughed maniacally when the chainsaw came on, I knew she was going to be my lil' Princess from the moment i first held her in my arms
but i was thinking Disney would go on and ruin another girl's self image and she would grow up thinking long, perfectly brushed hair and flowing dresses with tight waist ribbons is the only way to go thru life, after all there is all that cleaning and all that waiting for the Prince to come a rescuing.

But

My Kid is ... "interesting". She watches the original Astroboy cartoons and loves Coraline, she hated Princess and the frog and thinks dresses are costumes to play tea party.
So it was no surprise when instead of going with the girly Princess She chose to be A half cat, half angel, power- saw wielding, comfortable shoes , jean clad , ass kicking, Princess!!!
