My New Soul

Roomy interior, bigger than it looks , specially parked next to a gas guzzling SUV , all the bells and whistles are pretty much standard (even i-pod connection , in-steering wheel controls) and it has a pretty good get-up-and-go, 142hp .2.0L 4-cylinder (24 street .30mpg hwy) , sport tuned suspension, 5 star crash rating , 4 wheel disk brakes with ABS, 18in wheels, 315 watt 8 speaker system with satelite radio and front door speakers that light up and of course their warranty is beyond awesome even including hotel stay if you brake down and can not have repairs done right away (trip interruption policy)I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

My review
Extreme of conciousness

Paul Krassner's book has been on my shelf for a few months and this is where i stopped this review , i don't know if it was because i wanted to explain why it was there so long or because the tv, the baby, the ding of the microwave took me away from my desk for a few minutes but that explains why it was shelved for so long, I just don't have a lot of time, then this week i joined a grup here on Buzznet and work happened to slow down a bit so Kressner came with me to the graveyard shift and in between talking to criminals, nurses, broke ass people, hungry people, and fucktards i got some reading done.
He (Krassner) starts at age six, he talks about his beginings he talks about The Realist , about Reagan (president), Manson (Charles not Marilyn), Lenny Bruce he talks about the movement on the sixties , about the first amendment , he talks about drugs and paranoia , oh yeah. back in his day people were paranoid about the CIA and the FBI listening in our converstations and now we have given them permission to do just that i think this is where i started thinking about how Hunter S. Thompson offed himself , maybe he knew he was a dying breed i think Krassner knows this too , there is nothing left to the left, there are no secrets, there are no conspiracies there is no need for journalism not even the satiric kind is all about entertainment, the masses do not want to be enlightened they just want to be entertained, what would H.S.Thompson be writing about today? would he dye his hair pink and get herpes from some starlet in Hollywood? what is left for Krassner to do other than partake in this form of public wanking ? the revolution was fought it was televised on pay-per view and we got nothing but commercials , we became a nation of sheep thinking we were wolves but we still got fucked by the farmer, i dont know , what is it that you want me to say? that this book was great? heh.. it was alright he is a good writer he is funny but he should have died when he had a chance to become a legend, I don't mean he deserves to die is just that he could have been remembered as the guy that exposed Lyndon B Johnson for fucking the corpse of J.F.K on the neck, instead he wrote about him writing, snap, snap snap, head bobble watheva! hey like he says ''Irreverence is our only sacred cow''
and it might be true but no one prays here no mo'

Got a new convection oven because Frigidaire killed my Christmas

On Christmas day I wanted to make a turkey and i had spent the few weeks prior getting ready

The turkey was going to be rubbed with adobo and the stuffing was going to be chorizo and sausage, the side dishes were the regular fare, potatoes, greens, maybe something sweet .

but wait

We need to go back a week before Christmas day.

A loud beeping sound got me out of the couch, it sounded like it was coming from the kitchen, so i checked but by the time i got there the noise had stopped, the microwave display read 20 seconds left, the coffee pot was off, nothing out of the ordinary there until i looked to the stove, the time was changed to 1200 (it was about 10am) on the clock and next to it where the temperature is displayed an F11 was flashing, i had to look up the instructions of the new stove, is only about 6months old and i found out it was an error message but it didn't say how to fix it, i tried everything , i held the ''clear'' button for a minute and nothing happened so i unplugged it for a while then plugged it back in and that seemed to do the trick, beeping stopped and i was able to re-set the time.

forward to cooking day

Turkey had been cleaned, rubbed, stuffed and was ready to go on the oven when my wife asked if i had pre-heated the oven , did i mention this was my first time making turkey? i told her that i hadn't and walked over to set the oven, pressed on the -bake- button but nothing happened, so i pressed on the -temperature- button and nothing happened, so i started pushing numbers and nothing. the oven was dead.

new oven, electric display, no knobs to turn on the oven and throw a match in it, just a black flat touchscreen display that had broken a week before and a turkey on the counter that was ready to be baked.

Has anyone ever cooked a 14pound turkey in the microwave?
We did.

so we bought a convection oven because the Home owners assoc. needs to contact frigidaire for a service tech to come out.

yesterday i baked a caked
