==We drove to Big Bear last weekend . It has been kinda warm in the past couple of weeks here and from LA the mountains looked like most of the snow had melted but We thought - a little snow is better than no snow- so we piled up the kids in the Soul and drove up the hill.
It was nice and foggy most of the way up but once in Big Bear it cleared up to a nice bright sunny day , there was little snow on top but we still had a great time up to right around 2pm when we decided to call it a day and drive back home before we got cought in rush hour and it turned out it was a great idea , apparently the entire time we were up at 8000ft in the sunny side of the mountain down from 7000 to about 5000 it was a freaking blizzard going on, we got stuck behind a huge SUV that kept swaying and sliding on the slushy road . We made it home safe and we are looking forward to go back
